Happy 5th birthday to our biggest girl! Every year this girl gets older is another year that Chris and I have survived as parents! We have watched her and anticipated everything she's ever done for 5 years! Her first little chubby smile to her first dance recital this month and our hearts explode each and every time. When I looked back at previous birthday posts I notice that the word "sweet" is used over and over again. Nothing has changed now that she's five. Jordan is the sweetest little spirit, the kindest heart and loves being a good big sister to Taylor and Colton.
Jordan loves ballerinas, unicorns, mermaids and princesses. She is all things girly and we are loving trying to keep up and embrace all of this. We cannot buy enough dresses and tutus and princess costumes to keep up with her! She loves to dance all over the house and begs for The Greatest Showman soundtrack so she can put on her dance recitals. Speaking of dance recitals, I did not think we would ever get her dance costume off of her!
On her 5th Birthday, Jordan is 3' 6" tall. We are spending our summer staying busy and getting ready to start Kindergarten in August!
Jordan LOVES that she shares her birthday month with her daddy. "Birthday Buddies!!" This girl can take a picture too! Any time she sees a camera/phone she's smiling and posing.

Grandpapa and Oma came to visit for some birthday celebrations!

Jordan counted down from June 17th to her birthday (I think counting down from 10 days was our limit). She was so excited about turning 5 and kept saying everything she was doing her last time as a 4 year old.
Finally it was June 27th and time to open her presents!
Taylor explaining to her the Princess chalk she picked out for Jordan's birthday present
Started her day with breakfast at our favorite "brunch" spot. She calls it brunch every time we go there...this was 8am brunch.
"Mommy, I picked this flower for you"
Every day with this girl I hear about a new craft, drawing, painting or flower that she has for me. It's not just me, she loves giving everyone gifts. Any time we go to a birthday party she wants to make sure they open her present and she gets so excited to see what they're going to say when they open it. I love this sweet little stage!
Taylor was not interested in taking pictures, but I love the way Colton is looking at Jordan in this picture. Once again, Jordan never met a picture she didn't want to take

Since I was still teaching summer school in College Station during Jordan's birthday week, we were lucky enough to have Cousin Camp!! I love these kids and how much they love each other.
Took a little "field trip" to the George Bush Library

Sweet girls - Love that you can see President Bush's limo in the reflection
Love this big girl so much
Time for the next birthday celebration! Did I mention she loved unicorns and mermaids?
Fun spending your birthday with your besties
Only 16 more years and she'll be sharing this birthday tradition with us.
More like 20 years for you little man.
Practicing her big girl bike

One last birthday celebration with some friends! I didn't have my phone and did not get many pictures, but are so thankful for the friends we have met in our little community.

Happiest of birthdays sweet princess! We are so proud of the little girl you are and are loving sharing all your firsts!
