Taylor: 4 Months

Hard to believe this girl is 4 months old. She is just the BEST baby...I'm sorry Jordan girl, but Taylor is just the best baby. Taylor is such a light to our life every single day. Her smile just melts our heart. Something about this girl is just contagious!  Happy 4 Months Littlest Girl!

Taylor is 16 lbs. 4 oz and 26 1/4 inches tall. She is in the 98% for length and 87% for weight.

Jordan is all daddy all the time when daddy is around so I love having my own little buddy! Taylor is definitely a Mommy's girl for now, but also lights up every time daddy starts talking or walks in the room.

 Taylor kisses...or something like that.
Taylor just goes along wherever we go with big sister. This month, she watched Jordan play at the children's museum in The Woodlands and the large museum in Houston. I think she got tired of just being carried around so decided to start scooting around on her 4 month birthday at the Houston museum.

Snuggles with this girl are few and far between, partially because she has a 2 year old big sister, but also because we worked to make her a better sleeper than her sister so don't get to snuggle her too often while she sleeps. Sweet little moments.

Watching big sister play while stealing her chair

I love that Taylor is big enough to play in her excer-saucer. She hates to lay down so wants to be up watching Jordan play or playing with the music.

I had to find all the baby toys now that Taylor is big enough to play with them. She's so cute sitting up in her bumbo while we all eat dinner at the table. This ball was Jordan's favorite toy too!

Snuggles with Daddy and Mommy!

 Sweet little face

Jordan spent a couple of days at Gamma and Poppy's so Taylor stole Jordan's seat. This is Jordan's favorite place to sit, but I think Taylor enjoyed it too. Let the competition for Daddy begin! Also Taylor's first picture with George Costanza!

Taylor enjoying her couple of days as an only child! Love her!

Smile!

Those eyes!

I love putting Taylor in the same outfits as Jordan. Jordan here was 2 months old and Taylor was about 3 1/2. Love these two chubby cheeked girls.

Things we don't want to forget:
- When Taylor sees herself in mirror and smiles
- The sweet sound of her baby giggles
- Big gummy smiles
-Her big blue eyes
- Wants to be up especially likes to stand up while holding our hands
 - Her really strong grip.Likes to hold onto my hair and refuses to let go.
- She tries to kiss Jordan when Jordan hugs her
- Started scooting on her 4 month birthday
- Loves to sleep on her tummy
- Smiles when anyone talks to her
- Started playing with toys
 - I don't think the camera does her smile justice

July 2015

July was a busy month, so we have a lot of pictures from our day at the zoo, a weekend in College Station, and Aunt Lissa's wedding, but there are always more pictures we take that we want to remember. This is mostly about Jordan since Taylor got her own 3 month blog.

We do not get to see the Seglers very often, so when they're close we try to make sure we get a chance to catch up. Between the two families we have these 4 precious girls all about one year apart and it is so much fun to watch them play together!

Jordan also learned how to go in a doggy door! May have been the highlight of her visit
We met at their wedding and here we all are 8 years later.

These two girls did the best job for me at their 2 year appointment and 2 month appointment. Two healthy and big baby girls!

Maybe she was good because the doctor promised her a "pop".

I forgot to put these pictures in the last blog from the wedding, but how sweet is this?! Jordan used to be pretty unsure of Poppy, but he worked hard to earn this little girl's heart and she sure does love him! These pictures are too much!

And a little side by side action of when I was two with my dad and then Jordan with him. Something about this is so sweet to me!

Sister time! Jordan LOVES to hug Taylor, but sometimes doesn't realize how much bigger she is than her! I clearly didn't stop her though, instead I grabbed my camera and we had a girl's photo session!

Jordan is becoming such the little girl with a big personality. Every day she has us laughing about a new game she made up in her head or just the watching her when she plays. Her language has really taken off too, she loves to tell us what to do and where to go. "That way, mommy", "Out there", "Sit down, mommy" "stand up, daddy". Always a command and always so sure of what she wants us to do. Something about that sweet little voice though, we usually do whatever she's asking us.

Jordan still loves her gymnastics and she gets to ring the bell when she masters a task. Her favorites are obviously jumping on the trampoline and hanging on the bar.

Sharing gymnastics time with Taylor

Jordan put herself in time out this way. I think she was mid-tantrum and just decided laying down was easier. Bless your little 2 year old heart, life sure is hard when Mommy doesn't let you wash your hands for 30 straight minutes.

Not the best picture, but have to take advantage when I get snuggles from this girl. They're rare and ALWAYS when daddy is not home!

Teaching Taylor how to play with the toys on her bouncer. It's not much, but I like that it's the beginning of them playing together.

It's impossible to not smile while watching this girl watch Frozen. She likes to list off the name of the characters when you start the movie.... "Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf". I love her sweet little face and how excited she gets to watch a movie.

I don't know what her deal is with having glasses on her face, but it makes me laugh every time...

Snuggles with my girls!

Taylor's not so sure how she feels about big sister being in her 3 month pictures. Jordan kept trying to hug her until Taylor eventually just fell over!

Love these two so much!!
