This girl is the sweetest thing. She has made her newborn months so easy on us, and although I'm sure it won't always be easy she has been the best baby! Taylor is 3 months old now. She is 15 lbs and getting bigger and stronger every day. There are no shortage of smiles with this girl and they are infectious! She loves to coo and talk to anyone who will listen. She would much rather be sitting up and looking around than lying down and loves to push up so she is standing up on her little legs, showing off how strong she is.
She's starting to get chubby little baby cheeks too!
She is finally getting the hang of tummy time and likes to show off how strong she is. She is starting to lay on her back and play with all the activities above her too. I love when they start reaching and grabbing onto things and can really start playing by themselves. She'll fall from her tummy to her back sometimes, but she's so close to rolling over from her back. Well...she gets about half way and just hangs out on her side.
It's no secret that when Daddy leaves to go recruiting, Mommy puts the girls in Aggie outfits! Also, I needed to put her in Jordan's Aggie outfits before she grew out of them and couldn't wear them anymore. She does look cute in maroon :)

It took Taylor a little while, but she finally started liking her bath time. I love this sweet photo in her bunny towel. Those eyes!
Pretty little thing trying on her dress for Aunt Lissa's wedding and then hanging out with Gamma before the reception.

Gamma and Poppy's littlest grandbaby!

I thought she may be too little to sit up in the seat, but she loved it. Ready to be sitting up right and checking everything out for her self!

Every now and then, Jordan likes to make sure that we know she was the first one there and that we need to hold her instead of the baby. So we played in Taylor's room with Taylor laying on her lamb facing the complete other direction. Within 5 minutes, she was under her bed. She just kept pushing her little feet making up quite a bit of distance. Poor second child! Don't worry - we still hold her quite a bit!
I just loved her little feet put together while she watched Jordan play. She has certainly found her hands and loves to try to put her entire fist in her mouth!

This was my last week of maternity leave. I was so lucky to be able to take 12 weeks off to enjoy this little bundle. She has brought us so much joy already in the last 3 months.
We love you Taylor girl!
Taylor is such a trooper being dragged to gymnastics, the pool and the zoo. We had a very busy July, so have more pictures on other blog posts from our day at the zoo, a weekend in College Station, and Aunt Lissa's wedding.
Things we don't want to forget:
- How you put yourself to sleep when you're all swaddled
- The way you light up your little face when you smile
- Already watching big sister and laughing as she plays
- The way you lay your head on our shoulder after middle of the night feedings
- How sweet you are as we drag you everywhere big sister wants to go
- Your soft little baby skin
- The feeling when she falls asleep in your arms or on your chest. The baby days are so sweet when you can still get away with a little nap together on the couch.
