Happy 3rd Birthday Taylor!

Happy 3rd birthday Taylor girl! Birthdays are so bitter sweet in that we love watching you grow and develop, but it seems like just yesterday you were just changing our lives when you became part of our family. This month was all about celebrating you, Taylor! We are so proud of the big girl you are becoming.

You have such a sweet little heart with your "Thank you Daddy for making me breakfast" every single morning, all of your kisses and snuggles, learning how to share with your sister and taking such good care of your baby brother every single day. Your personality is growing every day! We love your silly dances and listening to you make up songs in the car the ENTIRE way anywhere we go. "Mommy, do you remember this song..." and proceeds to sing random words and stories about what happened at school.

You also are a persistent little girl who knows exactly what she wants and we wouldn't have it any other way. You want to be involved in everything that's going on and ask "Can I see?" to EVERYTHING! One thing we've started to notice recently is your desire to do something so badly, that you have a solution for every road block we put up. "I will clean up the pizza if we eat on the floor, I promise!", "I won't lose my favorite stuffed animal at school, I promise!", "I will stay in bed all night if you let me sleep in Jordan's room, I promise!" We're suckers and you have made a mess, lost your toy and NEVER stay in bed all night.

We started our birthday celebrations for Taylor turning 3 with Disney on Ice! Despite her face in this first picture, she did love it. This was when we first got there and one thing we know about Taylor is that it takes her a little bit to get warmed up to anyone, any place or any thing.

Tough to take pictures in the dark, but wanted to capture their little faces taking it all in...and Moana's tummy

Big Sister always giddy when there are princesses around.

Thank you Gamma for taking us to Disney on Ice to start our birthday celebration!

Off to school to celebrate our birthday with our friends. I love this shirt because every time we give Taylor something she asks for she says "yay".
"Here's some milk"
"Yay"
"Have a piece of cake"
"Yay"

Love being able to visit my birthday girl at school to celebrate her birthday with her crown, cupcakes and paw patrol plates.

Big sister and little mess face
She found this Doc McStuffins rolling back pack in her room from 2 Christmases ago and has insisted on rolling it in and out of school for the past month.
We were so excited that our cousins came to visit and celebrate this girl turning 3. The weekend started with a super fun cousin sleep over with pizza (and babysitters :))! Then we dragged everyone out to soccer practice and then off to lunch. Taylor seems so big to me, but yet so little around these 4 big kids. I love that even though they are all a little older than her, they love and play with her just like she's one of the big kids. So thankful for these faces!
Randomly throughout the week when talking to Taylor about her birthday celebration:
"And then I will have a Paw Patrol cake?"
"and my cake will have sprinkles?"
"and my cupcakes at school will be chocolate with strawberries on top"
"and I will have a birthday party hat?"
"and then I will open my Elsa presents?!"
"and there will be balloons?"
Mom calls HEB: adds strawberries to cupcakes on Monday, orders Elsa present on Amazon on Tuesday, adds sprinkles to cake on Thursday, picks up balloons and cupcakes on Friday.Forgot party hats, went back to HEB to find party hats on Friday afternoon!

Hope you enjoyed your birthday baby girl!

Even Colton got his party hat on
Barrett was entertaining everyone with his movie making app and all his new Kindergarten wisdom! I love that even Colton was intrigued by what was happening. Love these 6 tiny people so much!
Birthday morning started off right with some brother snuggles and then brother being totally left out of the party. What's going on over there?! Poor thing - In no time you'll be running around with those big kids!

Birthday breakfast!
I ask Aunt Alli to hold the baby for ONE second!
Quick photo session before we attempt to tackle brunch with these littles.
The girls :) I love the photo progression here of Taylor checking out the big girls to see what everyone else is doing before she finally looks at the camera. This girl has this HUGE personality, but still will defer to big sister and cousins sometimes to make sure she's doing it right.

When she finally looks at the camera, we have this face. Ha!
The whole crew. So thankful for our cousin friends who will come down to celebrate and spend the weekend with us!

Brunch life! Parker and Jordan....always Parker and Jordan
Hanging with Aunt Alli!

 Cuties
Me and my little man celebrating sister's birthday

We spent the rest of the day playing with our birthday presents and apparently our giant 3 balloon. Hard to see, but Taylor's face in the balloon picture is priceless. This is the face she makes every time she's being silly, or dancing with her elbows out like a chicken dance. This silly girl is developing this large personality and we're all just trying to keep up!

We love BUBBLES!

The only thing we love more than bubbles is swings!
"All I want for my birthday is for you to push me on the swing, Mommy". How do you say no to that?
Also, aren't you happy about the strawberries on your cupcakes or your party hats or the sprinkles on your cake? Ok - Fine, I'll push you. But now that you're three it's time we start learning how to pump those legs!

Happiest of Birthdays baby girl!
