The first baby it seems like it takes a while to get through the first 6 months, so much is new and we were so unsure as parents. The last two times I feel like I blinked and that half a year mark was here! I cannot believe this boy is 6 months old. He is full on professional baby now, except for that whole crawling thing...Not really his speed. He'd rather just roll around from front to back and travel all the way across the floor to get the toy he's looking for. I must say, he's getting pretty creative. No interest in being on all fours, so maybe this one will just skip straight to walking!
Colton is by far the smiliest baby and definitely the most content. I love that I can make him smile or laugh almost any time I want! :) Taylor still has everyone beat by being the best sleeper as baby, but Colton is a close second with Jordan coming in at a distant DISTANT third.
At his 6 month appt he was 27.5" long (90%) and weighed in at 17 lb 9 oz (57%)
Anytime we have a photo shoot, big sisters certainly don't want to miss out.

This boy...This picture was taken about 10:30 pm after Daddy's basketball game. He had been awake since about 5 pm and hadn't eaten in 4 1/2 hours....Took this picture while Taylor was throwing an almost 3 year old fit before bed and Colton was just patiently waiting his turn for bedtime. Sweetest thing

Now that I have Spring Break and Chris had his conference tournament, we spent a little time in College Station. Thankful our cousins had the same break so they could come down and visit!
I thought we got a good picture of the twins with him, but this was the only one I saw. I'm not so sure he loves how big all these girls love him!

Second big development this month....FOOD!!! Boy loved him some cereal, sweet potatoes and apples!

Left this stinker fast asleep with a baby sitter...got home at 9:45 and he was wide awake and as happy as could be

What a 6 months it has been as a family of 5!
Things we don't want to forget:
- The way he lights up when Mommy walks in to pick him up at school
- Him rolling all over the floor to reach everything we're not ready for him to reach
-His smile when you go in his room in the morning.He's in his little starfish blanket just smiling at us!
- Those first 2 teeth breaking through!
