On the last full day of our California trip we drove up for a day at Disneyland. I kind of thought the girls would be too young and that it would be a waste of time and money, but I was so wrong. I am still on a high from watching these girls experience the "Disney Magic". I already cannot wait to take them back for another adventure.
As much as I was not prepared for this girly girl, I have to say I am enjoying every second of it. Jordan at 3 years old thinks that Princesses are everything! She loves all of it: the movies, the music, the hair, but mostly their long long dresses and how they twirl. We started off our day at breakfast with the Princesses! Jordan was a little uneasy with Ariel at first but it didn't take her long to warm up. She still tells me, "I was shy a little with Ariel, but then I gave Belle a big hug", and anytime we watch a princess movie: "I met her mommy..I met her and I gave her a biiiiggg hug!"
It may be hard to tell in the first picture, but she is practically on her tip toes because she leapt, I mean, JUMPED into Belle's arms. Oh my sweet Princess loving girl.
I love these Princesses and how much they adore these little girls.
Tiana could have easily been Jordan's favorite! She also was fully warmed up by then and kept jumping up and down waiting on Tiana to get to her.
I could've left right then. That was really all I needed and way more than I expected!
Next stop, was Frozen Live musicial! Jordan did not move the entire show, she just sat and stared at the stage for a solid hour.
Some of the characters, Jordan was still kind of scared of, but Tay was good as long as Daddy had her. "Goofy is Daddy's favorite!"
Taylor fell asleep, so naturally I took the time to find the only beer on the property.
Our first Minnie Mouse sighting! "And, look Mommy, she has on a pink skirt...I like her skirt"
We were all there too!
We loved the parade as it came through town! The wonder and amazement in these girls' eyes is everything. Also, Jordan's signature Minnie ears just kill me...HA!
These are from the Disney photographer that was taking pictures right before the parade started. Taylor was just dancing away at the music, that's why she's kind of blurry!

After every float would go by, Jordan would look all the way down the street asking "What's next...what's coming next?" She was so excited for every single one. Love these of her and Parker were waving to the princesses as they went by.
These girls love their Daddy.
Must-take picture at Disneyland. Jordan wasn't interested. Still love this picture of the 3 of us.
Silly girls. Playing at Goofy's Playhouse
I love this girl so big. She truly was just soaking it all in...
...maybe was a little too much for a toddler brain to soak in without a little stroller nap.
Can't leave without meeting Mickey and Minnie. "Mommy, now she is wearing a pretty red dress".
Let me note here that Jordan cried in line to meet Mickey and Minnie because they were dressed up and she was not. She didn't think her shorts were dressed up enough to meet them. We had to convince her that she looked so cute and that Minnie would love her sparkles on her shirt. Where does she get this?
This should be an ad for Disney...Maybe I'll write them now :)
Attempt at getting a picture of Taylor's hat on her head...didn't go over very well.
Another Disney staple..."It's a Small World"
Seesters and our littlest. (Sorry Pay, it's true)
Day finally winding down, only one last parade and fireworks to go. Love all these Disney ears, wish we could see their names!
These two buddies LOVED the Paint the Night Parade!

I only got a little emotional once. At the end of the night watching fireworks over the castle and my dad was holding Jordan. Taylor was asleep in the stroller...I think it was a pretty long day! Jordan was watching Tinkerbell fly over the castle "setting off" the fireworks with wide eyes. Then towards the end, they started playing "I See the Light" from Tangled (Rapunzel) and they had images of the floating lanterns on the buildings around the town. Jordan's eyes got so wide as she realized the floating lanterns. It's almost like she couldn't even believe it. My little Mommy heart couldn't take it anymore.
Not the best picture...but captures the moment.

The princess breakfast and the floating lanterns were the perfect start and end to our whirlwind, do Disney in a day, adventure.
Jordan and Taylor - I know you will not always remember this trip, but I pray somewhere in your memories you hold on to these magical moments. Maybe I'll show you a thousand pictures once a month so you'll never forget! :)
