Taylor Dedication

On June 19, 2016 we celebrated Father's Day by dedicating Taylor at church. We stood in front of our families and our church and promised her that we would raise her in a Christian home. That we would love her and fight for her. That our prayer for her was to be grow up into a woman of God.

Our letter to Taylor:

Dear Taylor Allison,

What a perfect blessing you have been to our family! Psalm 139:13-14 says: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful”
We are beyond grateful to have you in our life and as a precious member of our family. Your contagious smile and sweet spirit have already stolen our hearts. As parents, we pray for the wisdom to teach you of God’s love and grace; and lead you on a path of obedience to Him from an early age. Our prayer for you is that you grow up as a strong woman of God with characteristics listed in Galatians 5:22-23: “have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control”.

Our promise to you is that we will love you unconditionally and throughout this journey of life, we will challenge you to seek God in all that you do.

We love you, Mom, Dad and Jordan

It is days like this that remind me what we're doing, what our purpose here is for these two girls. To love and support them in everything they do, and pray every day a prayer of thankfulness and a prayer of wisdom to provide them the tools they need to lead lives in obedience to God.

We are also so thankful for the love and support of their grandparents. My girls adore all of their grandparents and for that we are so thankful. They stood with us in church on Sunday advocating for them and supporting us and our little family.
