Welcome Taylor Allison

We are overjoyed to finally welcome Taylor Allison into this world! She was born right on time, on her due date, 4/29/15 at 8:41am. Taylor weighed 8 lbs 7 oz and was 20 3/4 inches long. I started having contractions Tuesday night, but they became more regular about 3 am Wednesday morning. We pulled Jordan out of bed about 4am and put her in the car in her pajamas to head to the hospital. Jordan was such a trooper and just went along on the adventure with us! We got there and realized I was already 7cm dilated and they quickly got me a room to get me set up. Only about 4 hours later, Taylor Allison was born. She was certainly ready to meet us as it only took a few minutes to get her here once the doctor came in. The whole morning was a little surreal since it all happened so fast! All the preparation in the world cannot prepare you for that moment that she is placed in your arms for the first time.  It's amazing how long it takes to prepare for you and yet how quickly you changed our lives.

Proud Daddy

We have officially become a family of 4!

Mommy and her girls!

Taylor's first selfie!

Jordan took just a second to figure everything out, but it didn't take her too long to warm up to her baby sister. She kept saying "bby" and pointing at Taylor. Gamma told her she was going to see Taylor's face today, so Jordan kept saying "face" and pointing to her face. Her little world has been changed, but she seems to be doing great and is starting to be so sweet with Taylor. Love this big girl giving her new sister kisses!

Trying to hold her on her own!

Taylor is just taking some time to relax with Daddy

Gamma and Poppy were so excited to meet their 5th grandchild!

Nani, Grandpapa and Oma came to visit too. Both of our families are completely overrun by girls!

Both grandmas doing double duty with our little girls!
Jordan is telling Gamma it's a "baby" and doing her sign language for baby

Snuggles and kisses with Nani!

Aunt Alli and Aunt Lissa came to meet their sweet new niece too..and play with the new big sister a little while they were here!

Just one of those things no one understands. We take this picture at monumental occasions for some reason. This is the 4th, "sister had a baby so we should make this face" picture. Makes it a tradition! Taylor's already perfected the "seester face"!

Sisters are headed home!

All dressed and ready to go

Just a sweet face getting ready to go home!

This picture was Tuesday night, 4/28,as Mommy was having contractions and dealing with this crazy girl. Look at Jordan practically trying to push baby sister right out of there. Guess it worked!

Taylor - Your mommy, daddy and big sister Jordan are so excited that you are finally here. We have been preparing and praying for you for so long and feel beyond blessed that you have joined our family. We cannot wait to see the adventures we will go on as a family of 4 and watch you grow into little girl you will become. We pray you grow bigger and stronger every day and that you never forget how much we love you! Welcome to this world, baby girl. We love you!!
