Trip to Aggieland - October 2016

Chris and I try to be pretty civil about which teams we root for around the girls, but usually once a year (usually when Chris is working!) I love to deck these girls out in their Aggie gear and head to College Station. This year, I got to take the girls around campus, tailgate with friends and go to the football game...well, half of it.

It makes me so happy in their little maroon and Aggie outfits that it's a surprise I don't do it more.

Side note: If someone asked me to describe Jordan's personality...I would show them this series of pictures

Ugh -These girls are so cute!

We went up to campus on Friday to check out the Game Day set up and take some pictures.

Taylor - Give Jordan a hug

Of course, a trip home is always better with your cousins around.

Home Sweet Home

The next day was game day...we had tickets and no babysitter so we just took the girls with us. Jordan kept saying that she wanted to stay and watch the Aggies.
Jordan yelling "Touchdown"!
So much sweetness. I have so many memories in Kyle Field and feel so grateful and blessed that I get to bring my children here to make new memories! I married a longhorn, but I love how he appreciates my love for Aggie football and sharing this with my girls.

I like sharing it with my favorite boy too. Celebrated Barrett's 5th Birthday!

Just a little light reading before we go.

In our Dixie Chicken shirts! :)
(Thank you  Ann Ganter, so glad you were my 1st grade teacher!)

A few pictures from when we got home. I just love the way Taylor looks at Jordan sometimes!

September 2016

Early September 2016 we moved into our new house in Huntsville and the girls started a brand new school. Jordan was most excited about her purple nap mat with her name on it

We also started Jordan in dance classes. All this girls wants is a leotard and a tu tu!

Just a few pictures of us settling into our new home and exploring our neighborhood:

Enjoying our new playground

I've been trying to get this girl to go through the tunnel since she started crawling. About a year later she finally made it!

We kept trying to plan a trip to New York for our 5 year wedding anniversary, but didn't know we were going to be able to make it. On a last second decision, we booked plane tickets, bought tickets to Hamilton, pricelined a hotel and had a whirlwind of a trip!

Lots of selfies when you vacation alone!

Luckily grandparents are close enough for a spontaneous drop off :)

Always fun to travel....and always fun to get home to these faces!
