We have finally decided on a name for our sweet second little girl. Taylor Allison Mudge.
We loved the name Taylor and were so excited to use her Aunt Alli's name as her middle name. I love that both of my girls have middle names that represent a little part of their families. Jordan Elizabeth is special to us since she is named after 3 women, her great grandmother, her mommy and her Aunt Lissa. Now Taylor Allison will have a piece of her other aunt's name to carry on. (Plus Alli named her little girl Payton Lindsey and totally guilted me into it...KIDDING!)
Taylor is way more active than I remember Jordan being, which makes me nervous for her arrival! She is constantly on the move, and I love watching her make my stomach jump with all her shifting and kicking and moving around, I think she's crazy already! I'm already having trouble walking around and getting up and down, but I think carrying around a 28 lb toddler doesn't help much!
We are just under 2 months away from meeting this sweet girl and all of the emotions are kicking in. We're nervous and anxious about how our family dynamic will once again be turned upside down, but so excited to meet her sweet face, see her little personality and watch Jordan become a great big sister.
Jordan girl just turned 20 months old at the end of February and it is hard to believe that she will be the big sister soon, since she is still so little. But she continues to change every single day learning and developing at a rate that we can't seem to keep up with. She knows most of her basic colors, but my favorite is the way she says "yellow". It's something like "llellello". She has learned so much sign language at school that we usually have to google what she's trying to tell us just so we can communicate with her.

And the next time it was Gamma. She eventually warms up and loves clapping at all the right times to help cheer on her Bearkats. I love taking her to the games and watching her be the life of the party and enjoy watching everything around her...except Sammy the Bearkat
She may have had more fun at the Aggie game because there is no giant orange creature roaming around. Once again, just likes to clap when everyone else claps, watch the dancers and dance during time outs. She's definitely a basketball coach's daughter.

This girl. Thanks to Aunt Lissa for teaching me I can stand on top of my rolling toys and put my hands up, "Ta Da"! Also, I think we're in trouble now that she's figured out how to open the doors in the house. Just in time for her to move into her big girl bed and be able to escape in the middle of the night. Oh help us!
Anytime she can be upside down, thrown in the air, flipped over or bouncing, she's a happy girl.
My parents took us to New York one time when I was little and I wanted this puppy dog so bad but for whatever reason, probably trying to get it home on an airplane with luggage and three kids, we didn't get it. My dad later took a trip to Dallas and stopped by the FAO Schwartz and brought home my puppy I wanted! I still remember being so excited and I'm pretty sure I had this in my room until I left for college. We pulled it out of my parent's attic and it has finally made its way home. Jordan LOVES him! It's so fun to watch her play with something I loved so much.

Starting to get ready for Aunt Lissa's wedding. We went to try on flower girl dresses, and this isn't the one she'll be wearing, but she loved trying on the pretty dress and twirling around. Kept looking at herself in the mirror. Also trying on our new "wedding prep" outfit from the bride!

This is how Jordan helped us while we painted and cleaned out her sister's new room. Playing with Mommy's old CDs. This will be like us playing with our parents records one day. She'll be asking me what a CD is. I love toddlers, just throw them in a box with some rice and all is right with the world.
She won't leave a bow, a clip or a rubber band in her hair, but put this girl in a winter hat and she's obsessed and will not let you take it off. Sometimes she wakes up in the morning asking for her hat.
We read in the car, we read during basketball games, we read all day long! Love this girl and her love of books. She grabs a book, walks over you, "Bk" and plops right down in your lap.

- The way she snuggles by putting her head on your stomach
- The way she says "didter" and "taytor" for her baby sister
- She loves shopping. Wants to touch everything she can reach. Getting her out of stores is almost impossible
- Experiencing full on toddler tantrums.
- Loves to try to put on her shoes, and actually got one on!
- Follows you around the house saying "UP Pls" until someone picks her up. (or throws tantrum)
- Loves to play "nigh nigh" by laying down and putting blankets over herself
- The way her face lights up and she runs to you when you pick her up at school
-The way she crawls right up on your shoulder at bed time when you start singing "Jesus loves me"
- How she whispers "Amen" after prayers
