Catching up on Winter & Basketball Season

Between Basketball Season this year, having a newborn, changing jobs, dance lessons, school events AND trying to lose my baby weight....I MAYBE haven't done this blog for the girls in a few months! :) That's ok - ready to catch up now.
We took a quick trip to Austin to go find out that our newest baby cousin is going to be a BOY! So excited for Colton and Baby Boy Rich to be so close in age! I love this picture at Aunt Lissa's house of Grandma Judy meeting Colton for the first time!
I mentioned the baby weight...Here's about how our at home workouts typically went

When you get to go to team dinner with daddy all by yourself.
I know I have pictures of Colton in his monthly blog posts, but never hurts to have a few here to help me remember this sweet face

My 3 littles loves. The girls are so in love with their little brother and it is so sweet to watch them with him!

I got up to feed Colton one night when Chris was gone and came back to my bed to find this RIGHT on my side of the bed.
Sonic happy hour with mommy!
Sweet friends going to the park. We were getting ready to go so we said "Bubbles and ducktails!" and every single one of the these girls knew exactly what we meant since they go to the same school!
Snow fall in Texas twice this year! This wasn't as much as we had in December, but we'll take it.

Big sister got a special treat of going to Cinderella for her cousin's birthday...
...so I got a sitter for Colton and just took this girl to the basketball game. Such sweet little moments when you get true one on one time with just one. Love this little girl and her GIANT personality that no one every se

"Mommy! Take our picture!"
I will show this to her therapist one day...middle child much, Taylor?
How many things do you think is too many for one tiny little girl?
Sweet boy fast asleep at school and then has to hold big sister's toys for her to make sure Jordan doesn't get them. He's such a big helper!

Survived his first basketball season!

Getting ready for our Valentine's party at school!

Jordan Girl is getting so big and is just so grown up on us all of a sudden. Bringing big ideas and her sweet personality into every little situation. She is still a goofball, LOVES her dance class and has taken on being the biggest helper in the house. She even has learned how to make mommy's coffee!! :) She turns on the lights for Taylor, gets Colton his toys, makes her and her sister water and even picks up daddy's shoes and puts him back in his closet for him!

You never know what Jordan is going to just take to. Our friend gave the girls a Valentine's gift bag full of goodies, and this spatula. She slept with this spatula for a week!

Taylor take a while to warm up to some things, people and ideas. Some that don't get to spend too much time with her do not know about this huge personality that she is developing. I love these pictures. This is true Tay in the morning being a sad bunny in the rain, waiting for someone to push her on the swing and then being a crazy goof ball while sister is at dance!

These two are the sweetest sisters! Of course there are those "She took the pens out of the bad and I didn't want the pens out of the bag" fights, but they have so much fun together.

 Picture time!

Love having visitors at the game with us

How Colton does basketball games :)
The girls love this little boy so much I can hardly take it

Love when we get to hang out with the boys and become super heros instead of princesses for a change!!

But sometime we get a little worn out! Something so sweet about sleeping kids in car seats to me
Selfie Time! Colton's not so sure yet

Got a couple gorgeous days during March! Taylor in her happy place....swinging

Colton sitting up in the stroller for the first time and Jordan "helping" push the stroller

Sweet moments before a slight meltdown, but I take these moments when I get them!
BIG Development this year! Jordan has been scared of Sammy the Bearkat since her very first season! She was so proud of herself for being brave!

She now loves him so much she makes me take her picture with this creepy bearkat before every single game

Hard to see, but this is my favorite part of the entire game.
My people! Taking three kids to the basketball game for 15 home games is not the easiest task I've ever taken on, but this....this is why we go. These three won't remember if the team won or lost this game, but they will have this forever. They will have the memories of being at the game and supporting their dad and getting to know the players, year in and year out. They will hopefully remember that you show up even when it's not easy or convenient for you, but that's what you do when you love someone. This...this is why I strapped that baby to me for 15 games, tucked him in my coat in the cold weather and told the girls to "run run run" across the grass, get our pizza or hot dogs and eat dinner at the game, have friends and family members hold my baby and take my girls to the bathroom and get them popcorn. This...this is why you just show up. I love everything that this picture is...our life may seem crazy to others (and even to me most days), but this...this is our crazy, beautiful life! :)
