Happy 1 Month Sweet Boy!
The
first month has been such a joy with this boy. He is living the newborn
baby dream just eating and sleeping his way through his first 4 weeks
being loved on by his entire family. Jordan and Taylor are so in love
and like to tell us when "he's awake!" or "he's crying!". They kiss and
hug him good night every night and have been so helpful in taking care
of their new baby brother. We think he kind of looks like his big sister
Taylor so far but is changing every day! He's becoming more and more
alert and is getting so close to showing us that first big smile!

These
newborn days are so special! I have definitely appreciated them more
this 3rd time around because you know how quickly these moments will
pass you by. While the girls are at school we do a lot of sleeping and
lots of snuggles.

Taylor loves having a real life baby doll and always wants to "tickle him so gently" and "give kisses on his head". Anytime we say something to Colton like "Are you cold? Are you ready to eat? Do you love your sisters?" Taylor quickly and loudly reminds us..."Colton can't talk!!!" Ha - thanks baby girl. Whatever would we do without you sweet girl!

Jordan
continues to exceed our expectations of a being the biggest sister. She
watches over her little brother when mommy puts her in charge and reads
stories to him to keep him happy. They both love to say when Colton is
awake and when he's looking at them or touches them.
Helping Colton be brave at his first doctor's appointment
During his first month, we took a day trip to College Station to meet some of our Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
The Boys

I might like to take lots of pictures when we're home just to capture all these little baby features.

Plus who doesn't love pictures of a sleeping baby

This
is the new sleep sack the store convinced me I needed. It's like a
party all night long! I think it's hilarious and needed to be noted.

Helping daddy watch film
Just some pictures around the house...living the dream.

Adjusting to life with 3.
Bedtime and bath time definitely got more interesting.
When you need to just go with the flow. Sisters are too busy to slow us down for long!
