February 2017

We are so busy this time of year, so lots of pictures so we don't forget!
Count how many pictures we have of Taylor sitting on Chris' shoulders. This really is her happy place and it is well documented.

Nothing beats sister bedtime stories. They don't even make room for me anymore!
Yes, we use turkey and Christmas plates all year long.

One time, like a year ago, Poppy put the blanket on Jordan like this and called it a dress. We've been doing it ever since, and now little sister has joined in the fun. Watching Taylor try to do everything her big sister does has become one of my favorites. She's trying to hard to be a big girl just like "Dister"

When we tell her all her nightgowns are in the wash, so pick some different pajamas.

Busy girls coloring and signing their Valentine's Day cards.

Playtime at the park before the basketball game

  The gang.

My favorite part of the games is watching these girls run as fast as they can to Chris after the game. Whether they win or lose, these two quickly put into perspective that it is just a game. The job is to influence and strengthen college students and the game is just a means to teach those lessons, most of which may be taught during the losses.
Chris, some days this job can be hard, and sometimes you'll wonder why ever you got into this profession, but always know that we are your BIGGEST fans and that win or lose, these two worship the ground you walk on.
Sorry, I got on a basketball wife rant, but this picture explains all of that in one snap shot to me.

Chris' team played in San Antonio so we took a little trip for the basketball game, some River Walk, playtime and a few family visits!

Our sweet friend Eliza rooting on their Bearkats!

Jordan with Nani's scarf and mommy's glasses and work badge. Taylor with a bucket of popcorn. They couldn't have been happier.

Nani came from Austin and met us for the game and dinner.

Watching the boats on the River Walk

 Morning on the River Walk.

While Taylor is connected to Chris, this girl has become my little buddy recently. I cannot believe how sweet this girl is. Melts my heart every day.

Finally made it on the boat! Jordan was so excited!

Found a little park to play before we went to visit Grandma Judy.

3 generations, we were missing one!

We don't slow down for long, the next weekend we headed to Grapevine to celebrate Parker and Payton turning 3!

Kicking of 2017 with....BASKETBALL SEASON!

The beginning of the year is always such a busy time for us with the middle of basketball season and lots of girl time! With the girls being a older this year and being so close to the school this year, we got a lot more daddy time and had fun at daddy's games. But, when he's out of town....we get donuts!

This girl is getting so independent! I love that she wants to carry her own stuff out of school, looking like such a big girl!

Playing with Mommy's makeup

I know Taylor loves me. And I know I'm her favorite person when it's just us. But the second Daddy walks in, it's like we've never met. I love watching this little daddy's girl adore Chris.
And yes, this is how she likes to watch Mickey.

The only place she will eat breakfast in the morning. She'll say "sit. dada" and then plop herself down. Every. Morning.
We had a birthday party for a friend at the zoo. Since Chris was out of town, Gamma volunteered to come help me explore the zoo with the girls. Taylor starting to figure it all out!

Plus a little face painting at the birthday party.

This is how we watch movies when it's 'just us girls'. Taylor in my lap, and Jordan snuggled as close as she can. I know these girls will not want to snuggle with their mom much longer, so I will take every second I can get. And then I have to document so I can try to remember for as long as possible.
Got her own grocery cart at the store!

Sister secrets and matching cheerios and converse

Oma would read this girl stories for days! Note the princess dress and shoes are on and the gloves on the table.

When daddy's team is in town, we're at the games with our biggest fans!

And then when daddy's on the road, we hang out with our cousins!
Something about these two
The girls and matching princess shirts!
and my girls :)

Visiting Mommer

Helping daddy put up our new swing set from Nani so we can play in the beautiful January weather.
