Right after Thanksgiving, we started off the Christmas season with a visit to Santa. Jordan was a little unsure at first, but then all of a sudden had this amazing joy and wonder in her eyes that I can't even describe. These pictures capture it better than I can explain. Taylor wasn't quite so sure, but as long as Jordan was holding her hand, she seemed to be ok.
"Here sister, you can hold my hand and you won't be scared anymore."

"I want a Baby Ariel, and airplane and a new stool"

Having a 3 1/2 year old at Christmas this year was everything! She is really starting to understand the whole picture. She loved to tell me the whole Christmas story:
"Mary and Joseph rode on a donkey to Bethlehem and then Baby Jesus was born in a barn with all the animals and then angels told the shepherds and the people saw the star and came to visit Him and brought presents and that is why we give presents at Christmas."
Yes, sweet girl. Everything!

Yes, sweet girl. Everything!
She was completely in love with Santa Claus, Christmas movies, lights, Christmas trees and loved being big enough to help decorate. We had a fantastic Christmas this year!

She also had her very first Christmas program and was so sweet singing Away in Manger and Christmas Step-by-Step

Lots of watching Christmas movies before bedtime this season! My favorite!

Sweet bedtime stories

Took a little break from Christmas to celebrate our friend Ashley getting married.

Jordan showing off all her dance moves, with and without her boyfriend Levi :)

So thankful for everything these two do for me and my girls!

Enjoying the nice weather at the park. I love when Jordan tries to push Taylor, because she pushes her too hard and Taylor runs right into her, every. single. time. Loving the view at our new park though. This is our view every time we visit because Taylor only wants to sit in the swing for hours.

This one becoming so big, playing with her baby dolls...

...helping make the pizzas (She ate more of the cheese than she actually tried dropping on the pizza)

...picking up sister's room and helping mommy wrap presents!

Ok! Back to Christmas!
"Raise your hand if you want an M&M!"
"Ok, good...hug your sister!"

Ok, now hug her a little looser.
Ahh....my girls. :)
Ahh....my girls. :)

We were able to sneak away for a night and go to Santa's Wonderland to show these girls all the Christmas lights. Taylor just kept pointing saying, "light...light...".
I hope I never forget these girl's big blue eyes being filled with wonder at all things Christmas!

Checking out the "snow" with Gamma. I love these pictures so much.

Maybe we took a few too many picture in front of the tree this year, but the first one cracks me up, because this is so real life. Jordan being so silly all the time and Taylor just watching her and thinking she is hilarious. Also this picture of Taylor kills me. She's turning into such a little girl!

Part of the holidays for us will always include hanging out at daddy's games. All this girl needs is pizza!

Almost got that bubble thing figured out Tay.

Finally Christmas Eve!
Making a gingerbread house with Daddy.

"Did Santa come to bring me presents last night"
Apparently I didn't take many pictures of the next parts of our Christmas.
Christmas night in College Station
Day after Christmas with more family!
Playing with new toys:

While the basketball team was out of town, these two crazy party animals and I went to a friends house to celebrate 2017!
Happy New Year Jordan and Taylor. I cannot wait to see what adventures this next year has in store for us!
