We had a very busy month this month with Mommy on maternity leave, Daddy being home so much during June, all the wedding fun getting ready for Aunt Lissa's wedding, visits from grandparents and a very special 2 year old's birthday party! Prepare for a long post below:
We took our first hotel trip with both girls for Aunt Lissa's wedding shower in Austin and the girls did great! Whoever says not to give your 2 year old an iPad no matter the circumstances has never had an energetic little girl stuck in a hotel room. It really is a life saver and she is so cute playing her Elmo game!

Taylor took her first
trip to Nani's house and enjoyed getting some good grandma snuggles and
nap time while we got ready for the shower.
I love Jordan helping me feed Taylor her bottle!
We went back to Austin the next weekend for the bachelorette party and the hotel stay didn't go as well...One would have thought the 6 week old would have been the difficult part of staying in a hotel, but not with these two! Taylor did so great, but who knew a toddler was capable of staying up until 3am! I guess when Mommy and Daddy are in the room and you can jump up and down on the bed, it's way more fun than sleeping. She loved looking outside the window and looking at the cars from way up high, she was so excited so that made up for the night just a little bit.
The next night she stayed at Nani's and helped make pancakes in the morning, we all slept a little better that night!

Plus Mommy got some time to go out and celebrate with Aunt Lissa.
Jordan is getting prepared for her first flower girl experience. There's a possibility this goes very poorly!

The next weekend we had our own visitors from Austin as Grandpapa and Oma came to visit the girls.

Happy Father's Day! Loves these two pictures with Chris and Grandpapa. Don't mind the white trash 2 year old in her Daddy's wife beater. I don't know how we get ourselves into these things sometimes, but makes me laugh anyway!
There is nothing sweeter than watching your husband love on and play with his kids! Jordan absolutely adores her Daddy and I know Taylor will too!

Jordan LOVES the water. It is so much fun to watch her play in the splash pad and in the pool this summer.

We love our sweet babysitter, Kelsey!

She even swims in the bath tub
Hanging out at the pool while Jordan and Daddy swim

Jordan and Taylor "playing". I love Jordan taking Taylor's temperature with her pearls on! Jordan loves kissing and hugging on her little sister, I'm not so sure Taylor's on board yet!

This is what Jordan does while Taylor is eating.

Practicing on Minnie to help Mommy with Taylor's diapers.

My first grocery store attempt with both of them

Sometimes she does sleep, and it's so sweet!
We're definitely working on turning 2! These pictures were about 10 minutes apart, the second is when I finally broke down and turned on Frozen.

Jordan's favorite new game is picking up coins and putting them in her Christmas story boxes. She even didn't want to go to the pool because she wanted to play "boxes"

I told Jordan that if she threw her food off the high chair again she'd be in time out. She didn't do it again, but when I got her from her chair she went to put herself in time out. I told her she wasn't in trouble, and then she stood up and put her nose in the corner. I have never told her to stand in the corner! She also is wearing Chris' socks and wouldn't let me take them off. Just another day!

Sunday family movie night!

This girl's little personality kills me every day! She is so full of expression and now that she's really talking you can see her little sassy attitude more and more. Every day is a new adventure with Miss Jordan! I love watching her love on Taylor and am gearing up for what it will be like when Taylor can react and really play with her!
