January 2015

We are not doing much to prepare for baby girl to be here in April/May, I think because this big girl and basketball season have been keeping us pretty busy. This doesn't make us any less excited about our newest addition. She moves around just like her sister did, if not more, I feel her kicking the most after eating, which is just like Jordan and she turned out to be quite the eater! I definitely feel this little girl rolling around and bouncing much more in the middle of the night, sometimes feeling like she's going to jump right out of me. We only have about 3 months until sweet girl gets here, and we are so excited to meet her! A little scared about how this will change our life, but we know it will be so much better than we ever imagined!

For now..we're busy cheering on Daddy's team!

Jordan's current favorite book is her "Aggie Goose" book. My favorite is watching Chris read it to her because it's the only book that she wants. The things he does to make his little girl happy! :)

Loving her new baby doll she got for Christmas. It has made the transition into bed with her and lovey while she sleeps. It's so sweet to watch her love on her baby. She says "bby" and then runs to go get her and read her stories, pushes her in her stroller, rocks her and put her 'nigh nigh'. She's going to be such a great big sister! She even lets baby eat yogurt or color with her at her big girl table.

Just your typical diaper change.

Bath time smiles!

Just reading...

Park time!

Our little gymnast

"Jordan, can you go grab Mommy's phone from over there?" Clearly she didn't understand exactly what I was asking for.

Always working on selfies with Mommy!

Such a big girl playing the HEB Buddy game and trying to take care of her own toenails!

At the end of January, we took a trip to Fort Worth to celebrate Parker and Payton's first birthday! All of these girls are growing up so big! Jordan had fun playing with her cousins, reading stories with Poppy and bonded with Uncle Matt as they watched hockey.

I love this picture of 4 generations of Arnold/Barrett/Wilson/Mudge girls
(including baby girl sticking out pretty far now!)
Jordan and Parker are having their own moment

Things we don't want to forget:

- Hearing her say "ma ma" and "da da" while doing her sign language
- The way she jumps up and down in bed when you walk in to get her
- "Up", "Up", "Up", "Up" constantly
- The sweet way she says "no". We probably won't like this for long
- Saying "diaper", "pants", "bye bye"
- The way she holds up her hand to say "Go Bearkats". This is the same sign for "I love you"
- She loves family hugs and kisses. Always kisses mommy, then daddy, then makes mommy and daddy kiss too.
- Thinks it's hilarious to run away when she's playing with something you try to grab from her
-Pats you on the back and says "nigh nigh"
- They way she's really starting to copy and mimic everyone. I was sitting with my hand on my face and she wanted to sit just like mommy.

- I mean...this FACE!

Christmas 2014

We started off our crazy Christmas week with a trip to San Antonio to see Great Grandma Judy. It's so fun to be able to take Jordan and be around her great grandparents when we get the chance.

This was the happiest we saw Jordan all week, we didn't know our little girl wasn't feeling well until we got to our next stop in Austin. We didn't get very many pictures at Grandpapa and Oma's since both Jordan and Grandpapa weren't feeling well. We had to put her in her pajamas before we opened gifts, you can tell that made her feel a little better. Poor girl was trying to feel good! Unwrapping her presents with Dadddy.

Our next stop was to Round Rock to see Nani and Aunt Lissa and the rest of the family. Once again, we didn't get a lot of pictures because Jordan wasn't quite feeling her best, but here are a few!

We headed home on Christmas Eve only to head straight to the Urgent Care clinic. Our plans of Christmas Eve service and trying to start a few family traditions of our own were trumped by a case of RSV and strep throat. No wonder this little girl wasn't feeling well the past few days. This also stopped our Christmas travel plans and forced us to just stay home and get her feeling better. It's not often that the 3 of us get an entire day at home together, so tried to make the best of it!

Daddy helping Santa figure out how to put together Jordan's kitchen! 47 steps...oops! :)

Christmas Morning! Wasn't feeling her best, but was already starting to feel better

 Her first Nikes!

Got a few smiles as she tried out her new shoes and helped Daddy finish the kitchen!

Took a short trip outside to the park. Love this picture! Even when she doesn't feel well, swinging always brings a smile to her face!

Helping unwrap everything left under the tree. Sorry Poppy!

Snuggling with daddy!

Finally a finished product! She loves it...and Mommy's socks!

Even though we missed Christmas in College Station this year, they kept the tree up for us and had our own personal Christmas a week later in January! We'll just pretend we were there for the real thing!

Big Sister/Little Sister shirts for my girls! :) Thanks Wilsons!

Opening her stocking and then a yogurt date with Poppy!

Trying to get in the baby doll stroller. Not sure she gets it!

Trying to get a family picture. Not sure why we all decided to wear grey today, but the best pictures of the 3 of us we got all Christmas week!

Merry 2nd Christmas little Jordan! Sorry you didn't feel your best this holiday, but you were such a trooper. We love you more than you will ever know!
