Happy 1st Birthday, Colton!

Cannot even believe that this little boy is one. You are the most adorable boy and so full of personality already in your one short little year. You have no interest in walking but why would you when you can crawl and climb on any piece of furniture in the house. Colton is the busiest baby always pulling everything out of cabinets or just climbing right inside. Climbing on the coffee table and learning how to get up and down from every stool or chair in the house. This little boy has two big sisters who ADORE him, hug him too tight and cheer every time he stands for a second all by himself. 

At one year old Colton weighs 21 lbs 10 oz (52%) and is 31" long (85%).

 

 

Will remember his attempts to walk by his bruise on his forehead in these pictures. He wants to go, just can't quite get his feet moving to keep up with him!

 Snuggles are hard to come by these days with this busy busy boy, so I'm not glad that he didn't feel well, but took the snuggles before this boy starts getting too big!

 He's got some pretty big fans! Is fun to watch sisters and cousins love all over this sweet baby boy! 

 

 

  

This is one busy busy kid. We've resorted to just making sure he knows how to get out of the cabinets and off the coffee table safely instead of pulling him off every time. We can't keep up!

Colton 11 Months

I am certainly not ready for this little one turning one next month, but he is getting so big whether I like it or not! He just cut his 5th tooth and working on number 6 right up there in the front. He is a speed crawler and is still into EVERYTHING! I never had to worry about the girls putting hands into the toilet...what is wrong with these boys?!?! 

 

Starting to see Colton's little personality develop. 

 

Starting to finally enjoy bath time! He's always been pretty indifferent towards it but now loves playing in the water

 

This guy has always been so happy and has had no shortage of smiles, but poor little one got hit with a virus of some sort and was quite pitiful. It's been a few months since this one would fall asleep on me. Pitiful....but sweet.

Summer days when you have to run an errand. We got this!

Colton had his first trip leaving Texas this month when we went to Durango! We'll give him a B- on the car drive, a C- for never switching his internal clock to Colorado time, a D at all meals for constantly trying to climb on the tables and A+ for being cute able to hang for most of the trip!

The one picture I have from this month after we got home from our trip is this princess ballerina pushing Colton in the doll stroller. Our house is a mess, the picture is fuzzy, no one is looking at the camera and yet I love everything about this picture! Sorry Colton! You'll be big enough one day to fight for yourself!! 

We will so enjoy this one last month before you turn one! You have blessed our family in so many ways and we love you bigger than the world!
